What makes us human?
We believe it’s our ability to tell stories.
Humanity has made tremendous scientific advances since the days we slept under the stars. We have explored land, oceans, and skies. Humans have walked on the Moon, and perhaps in the near future, will even land on Mars.
Yet despite these achievements, we still cannot answer questions like:
“What was the daily life of a New York City cab driver in the 1950s like? What was the routine of a Swedish middle school history teacher in the 1970s? How did it feel to be a naïve village bride marrying into a large, wealthy joint family in India during the 1960s?”
Sadly, countless lives have been forgotten by time. From Ötzi the Iceman to Lucy the Australopithecus, humanity has given ghosts of the past new names and reconstructed their appearances. But no matter how much scientists study their bones, we can never truly know our ancient ancestors’ favorite foods, lullabies, or cherished memories.
We want to change this tragic fate.
Rojnishi is an honest effort to cohesively document the diversity of the human experience — whether significant or mundane.
It’s a monumental undertaking, but with a unified effort, we are confident we can achieve our goal.
At Rojnishi, we believe it is never too late to start.
At Rojnishi, there is no judgment. Age, gender, profession, reputation — none of these categories matter to us. Every individual experience is unique and incomparable, like two complex numbers in algebra.
Every member who chooses to document their life experiences with Rojnishi becomes a valuable piece of the puzzle. With your help, we will be able to understand human emotions, passions, and experiences across cultures, religions, and locations in more detail than ever before.
With your help, we are confident that in 50 years, we’ll be able to easily find the life story of the common
person. We’ll be able to answer questions like:
“What was the life of a New York City Uber driver like in 2025?”
Your moments, Your legacy.
